Everything reacts to my mic except VoiceAttack.

I just got voice attack and i went through the entire set-up with no problems. I also did all the set-ups on my pc for the mic and everything works. When i unplug my mic and plug it back with VoiceAttack open it does say: Defalt audio device detected. But for some reason the Audio indicator is not there and the Level Bar does not do anything when i talk into the mic.
I'm using a Razer kraken 7.1 headset.

OOOOOh.  That's right.  The Kraken. 

The Kraken's software/driver somehow conflict's with the speech engine instance.  What you will need to do is download the VoiceAttack beta from here:  http://www.voiceattack.com/beta

On the option screen, check the option labeled, 'disable acoustic echo cancellation' under the recognition tab.  Somehow this has helped some and I'm not sure what Razer is doing that makes this necessary.

I tried that, but that didn't work for me. What finaly worked for me was deleting Razer's configuration program synapse from my pc, after this everything works perfect.

Yikes.  I really wonder what it is they are doing that interferes that much.

Is there some voice altering functionality that comes with it that you know of?
