Seperate commands play on seperate speakers
« on: March 23, 2017, 07:12:13 AM »
I'm currently using voice attack to run an experimental Home AI, what I would like to know is if its possible to have a command play over a specific speaker, like if I was to say "living room lights off", the confirmation sound would play over the speakers in the living room and not every speaker hooked into the computer.

Thanks for reading.

Maybe you could use Nircmd (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html)
I use it to switch between speakers and headset.

VoiceAttack also has a built-in "Change Default Audio Devices" action which can switch between different inputs and outputs.

Either solution does require that your speakers are connected to different output devices.

The sound-playing actions now also have a "Channel" option that allows you to pick a specific device for playback for each specific action
