Room scale/Distant speech recognition

Hi,

Has anybody had any success getting VA to work at a room scale or at a distance? I would like to use VA to recognize commands when I'm in the room talking to my beamforming mic.  I'm in a quiet room, and I have played with all of the Crystal Voice settings with the SoundBlaster sound card but the recognition rate is roughly 30%

Has anybody attempted anything like this and got it to work?
