Just a thought. What you have going there seems like a good place for this, and JSON is becoming fairly prevalent for a lot of data sources and config files.

Done.... very basic but should do the trick 

See the sample profile 'Text & Misc' for the correct syntax to use in the arguments (in the VR case you linked, it should be simply "steamvr.renderTargetMultiplier")
