Why when dragging a sequence it reverses its order?
« on: December 04, 2024, 02:36:26 PM »
Hi, almost everytime I drag a sequence of a couple of algorithm items to move them down below or whatever, the selection reverses its order, which is highly annoying because I have to accomodate again to their original order. I still don't understand the mechanics of it regarding how to avoid it. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Thanks!

Are you running the latest version of VoiceAttack?

I'm unable to recreate the issue of a selection of actions within the Action List becoming reversed in order after moving it with the mouse or cut/copy/paste, either.

Do you have the ability to make a short video recording of this behavior that we could review?  It might help us confirm the behavior of this issue you are experiencing in order to possibly better recreate it.

Command actions are ordered in the order they are selected @WillRiker2701.  If you want the commands to be dropped in order, you will need to select them in the order that you would want them dropped.

I know that sounds weird - it's the default behavior of the control.  If that is problematic for most folks, I can look into making the drop order follow the order of the list.

This is it! Thank you very much, I find it a cool feature but I wasn't able to understand and predict the mechanic until now.

Cheers!
