Six Days in Fallujah help

I'm playing Six Days in Fallujah currently, and I've successfully used VA to issue simple commands like Reload, Crouch, Flashlight, etc.  But the commands "Move," "Suppress" and "Watch," which require two combined keys (like Left Shift + C) refuse to work.  It's driving me nuts, because other games have no problem with such combinations.  Anyone having a similar problem?  Any fixes?

You could try using separate keypress actions and pauses, to see if adding more delay helps, but that sounds like an issue with that game's input system.

E.G.

Press down Left Shift key
Pause 0.05 seconds
Press C key and hold for 0.05 seconds and release
Pause 0.05 seconds
Release Left Shift key

Thanks!  Tried this approach, which is ingenious, but it doesn't work.  There must be something in the Six Days program screwing things up, but that doesn't seem to make sense.  My other VA voice commands work; it's these combined keystroke commands that fail.  Baffling.
