VA Joystick plugin
« on: August 15, 2016, 10:01:21 PM »
Ian Wells posted this in OLD GOOGLE GROUPS some time ago 12/27/15
"I have been trying out the new Joystick output feature.
Unfortunately I've come a cropper when trying out the "Test Stick" command in your sample profile.
It pops up an error message "Version of Driver (216) doe NOT match DLL version (205)"
I'm guessing that the VA Joystick Output plugin is checking for a particular version of the vjoy driver, which appears to have been updated since the plugin was uploaded.

Do you think I should downgrade my version of vjoy, or wait for a plugin update?

Cheers,"

Anything happening on the VA Joystick plugin , I'm looking too control Hat Switch via VA in ED for the Map menu
BUT ! , got to this point  "Version of Driver (216) doe NOT match DLL version (205)"  and  now stuck !

Is there a work around ?, which VJOY do you need and what 'other' software does the setup for VA

Ive been using  Headsoft Vjoy 1.2, found it to be more stable when using it with Joycurves http://www.xedocproject.com/joystickcurves.html

UPDATE switched back to the latest SourceForge joy drivers  to try and keep my Joystick functioning  in ED with Joy curves , I think Joycurves  needs to be updated to work with Win 10 & latest drivers
