Sorry if I missed a patch note or something, but I've noticed that VoiceAttack doesn't allow me to type text or use token names in the "Default text-to-speech voice" under the profile options.

I had my profiles set up to use a token in that spot for easy voice switching, but now the box is just empty, and when clicking I can choose any of the installed voices or "Default" but can't type into any more.

Was this feature deprecated or is something wrong?

In both the documentation and the tooltip text for that field it still mentions that values can be typed in directly, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

This does appear to be an issue, Chaos.

I'll have a fix for it in the next update.  If this is a showstopper for you, you'll want to roll back to version v1.8.9 by going here (it's at the top):  https://voiceattack.com/downloads

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Just a side note - I can put together updates rather quickly, but preparing for full releases will need more time.  As the updates become available, I will post them in an 'unofficial' download area for those that need them.

An updated version of VoiceAttack is now available, which re-enables typing into the "Default Text-to-speech voice" field: http://www.voiceattack.com/currentinstaller

I can confirm that as of v1.10.1 this issue has been corrected.

With no other product could a user report a bug on a Saturday and have a fix already applied on Monday. That's truly outstanding support!

Thank you so much!
