Send microphone state of Dragon speech recognition to VoiceAttack?

Is there a way to have VoiceAttack recognize the microphone state of Dragon speech recognition? I want a voice attack command that will behave differently based on Dragon's microphone state.

If Dragon products provide an interface through which that information is made available, that would likely be possible, provided you write a plugin or inline function to retrieve it.

Otherwise, unless you're using a different microphone for Dragon that is actually muted at the device level, no. There is no standardized API for checking that state (this is not a VoiceAttack-specific limitation).
