Type sound files supported
« on: October 22, 2021, 06:52:25 AM »
Hi,

From the help file I read that the ‘Play a Sound’ feature allow you to play .wav, .wma and .mp3 (also .ogg, .flac, .m4a and .aac (if you have the proper codecs installed) files).

I am particular interested in playing a 3 second .mp4 file. Is this possible?

Thanks.

That may fall under AAC, so potentially, yes.

Though, especially if it's only a single file, unless you have a very specific reason for wanting to use that file format, it may be more feasible to convert the file to MP3 or WAVE instead
