Limiting profiles visible in drop down box?

Probably another stupid question, but is there a way to limit the amount of profiles shown in the drop down box without deleting them?

There is not, no.

If you have profiles you don't anticipate using in the foreseeable future, you could export them to back them up, then delete them from the database, but note that any values that have been saved to the profile (using the "Save value to profile" option of the various variable-setting actions) will be lost, as they are not included when exporting.

ok thanks.  Not sure how hard it is but an easy way to hide them would be great.
