F14 as Push Listen key
« on: February 23, 2021, 10:33:01 AM »
Hi,
I have created a profile with F14 as the push listen key, but I can't remember how i did it. Keystroke comes from through autohotkey from my joystick. While the key is generated fine and activates the profile. In the profile modifying, on the profile Hotkeys page, the button press in not recognised as a push key, but all keyboard keys are.

Thinking is there a way to manually select the key?

Cheers

There is no method for manually selecting hotkeys, as logically you need to be able to generate the keypress externally somehow in order to use the feature.

On my machine the AutoHotkey-generated F14 keypress is recognized on the "Global Hotkey - Profile Override" dialog without issue.

That said, if you're looking to use a joystick button to change the recognition state, you could use the "Joystick Button Recognition" or "Override Joystick Recognition Button" option directly instead
