Require a profile to listen only while a key is pressed

What is the best way to have a profile where a joystick key has to be pressed for VA to be listening. As soon as the key is released, it stops listening.
Also, if I  import this profile into another one that is always listening, will the "press to listen" behavior be preserved for the imported profile's commands?

You can use the "Override Joystick Recognition Button" option on the "Profile Hotkeys" tab of the profile options window (Click the "Options" button next to the profile name on the "Edit a Profile" window to open it).

The option chosen for the active profile will be used (or, if there is no override option chosen, the global setting will be used); Included profile settings will have no effect.
