Quick reference list as HTML presentation problem
« on: January 04, 2020, 03:07:47 AM »
Hello,

When I do an export of a profile as a quick ref html file, the display in browser is incorrect.
The titles are not aligned with the columns. For instance : the column titles button is in fact the description. See attached files.

What can I do to have a "correct" display ?

I can sort the columns, can I move them also or not have unselected column displayed (just see what I chose) ?

Happy New Year.

That appears to be a bug. The headers for deselected columns are not supposed to be shown.

With your configuration, it should only show "Spoken Command", "Description", and "Category", in which case the columns would have aligned properly.

I've moved this to the issues section.

Yikes!  It appears that I may have messed up the html export when I changed the export default (I'm able to reproduce the problem here).  I will need to fix this, however, I will be out of pocket for the next week and will not be able to get to this until then.

Thank you for the heads up!

@KAPAX -

I was able to carve out a few minutes this evening and was able to remote in to see if I could solve the issue you had presented easily.  Turns out it was a small oversight with the new interface update.

I fixed up the code and compiled it as beta version v1.8.3.6.  I'm not in a position to make this a full-blown beta for a few days.  However, if you want to get the fixed version now, you can download the updated version from the, VoiceAttack 'unofficial' bin (standalone and Steam):

http://voiceattack.com/unofficial

and/or

http://voiceattack.com/unofficialsteam

It's just the executable - just replace your .exe with what is downloaded.  Not sure how Steam will treat the .exe with automatic updates, though.  You may want to look in here to see how to disable that:  https://forum.voiceattack.com/smf/index.php?topic=2973.0

Let me know how it goes!
