Voice Attack will not start minimized.

I just updated and Voice Attack will not start minimized now. It is set to start with Windows and I have tried starting it both ways, but it still refuses to work. I'm using Windows 10.

Are you using the "-minimize" command line parameter? Works for me with 1.5.9, though in Windows 7.

hmm, running 1.5.9.1 as admin, using shortcut properties will start minimised. Running without admin will NOT start minimised. same with "-minimize", Admin works, non admin does not.

Running Windows 10, so perhaps a security feature in the os?

I only just started happening after the update yesterday, so I don't think it's windows related.

HI,

I am getting the same problem , VA wont start Minimised. I`m running Windows 7 64Bit. Voice attack has ADMIN Privs and  -minimized is used , It`s also ticked in the settings.

What more can i do ?


Ive just gone back to a older version of Voice Attack v1.5.7 , and low and behold this Minimise problem is gone. Figures.

Not entirely sure what could be causing this as it's an extremely simple and common set of commands being used to do this.  I can try moving it around in case something else is conflicting with it... still not able to reproduce the problem on Win 10 or 7.

I moved the code around a bit to see if there was a subsequent action that might be causing conflict.  This is in the latest release:  http://www.voiceattack.com/download

Tested again to check the following: Win10 start minimised wo.uld only work with admin mode 1.5.9.1

Tested after installing 1.5.9.10: Will start minimised in any state, just need OP to confirm but appears fixed.
