As far as I know whenever I toggled my TX button I heard a 'keying' sound, but for whatever reason I do not hear that anymore....Suggestions?

If you are talking about when you push a button to Activate the mic to use VA, and you heard a activation sound. That would be in VA's options, under the Sound tab, check the box Notification Sound.

Yep. got that but I thought I heard a little "static" before and after keying the mike. Might be me being a dumbass :-)

That is not something VoiceAttack itself does/did. Are you using a third-party profile/plugin?

You can change the sound that plays when you toggle listening using the "Feature On Sound" and "Feature Off Sound" options, though that will also affect other toggle functions (E.G. toggling keyboard shortcuts).
