Dictation Audio and Dictation Mode when switching profile

Just a question out of curiosity,
what will happen when the Dictation audio or Dictation mode are actives and we switch the profile ? When I've tested it doesn't save anythig of course, but I am wondering how it is handled by VA ? Does VA close this option properly ? what happens to the buffer ?
