Steam says VA running, but I can't see it
« on: March 08, 2019, 08:45:35 AM »
Hi All,
I am a very very noobie to this entire area. But I downloaded VA via steam, and I may have pushed a permissions button, or not, it's been a frustrating morning. But I go into the library for Steam, get to the VA program, push launch and Steam says the program is running, but I can't access it on the screen. I would appreciate any ideas.

Have you rebooted your computer before trying again?

Did any VoiceAttack windows appear at any point?

Have you tried checking for corrupt/missing files(right-click the VoiceAttack entry in Steam, choose "Properties", and on the "LOCAL FILES" tab click "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF APPLICATION FILES...")?

Is there a VoiceAttackFault.txt file in the installation directory(you can right-click the VoiceAttack entry in Steam, choose "Properties", and on the "LOCAL FILES" tab click "BROWSE LOCAL FILES..." to open it)?
