VA crashing ntdll.dll

VA crashing with "ntdll.dll" the faulting module
is this my windows or va's dll?

That would be a Windows dll.  It's either going to be ntdll.dll itself or something that ntdll.dll depends on, unfortunately
Some have found that updating drivers fixes this issue, as a driver may be out of sorts.  I would suggest updating your joystick drivers first (if you have joysticks enabled), followed by sound drivers, then other peripherals - graphics, mouse, keyboard, etc.
