Copy text under mouse cursor

I have an application that I need to automatically copy several fields of text from, but one of the fields doesn't allow native copy functionality. 
I found a functional workaround by using a program called Textify with my VoiceAttack Command for this purpose, but was wondering if this functionality could be embedded into VoiceAttack (or if it exists and I haven't found it)?
