so im wondering if there is a way to record using a shortcut but immediately put it into a command and run when you press another shortcut. and if someone knows a plugin, function, etc could you post a link to it?

thanks in advance.

Can you elaborate? Which steps would make up the process you describe?

sorry, but what i meant  was if you were say on a platformer and you fell off/died and then the macro would have recorded the previous run and play it back. until you overwrite it with another recording.

sorry if that made no sense but its as if you click a key to record movements up until another shortcut is pressed where it would stop and save the recording. when you want to play it back you could press another shortcut playing the recording back.

hope that helped.

That would be possible technically, but slight variations in timing will likely mean it's not all that useful.

Either way, I personally don't know of an existing setup to do this within VoiceAttack.
