"Wait For Spoken Response" response(s) in action list
« on: June 09, 2018, 09:08:44 PM »
Currently the "Wait For Spoken Response" generates "Wait for spoken response" in the action list, I feel it would be useful to have some indication as to which response is expected.

Personally I feel having the literal string from the "Responses" field(Or the first X amount of characters) would be fine, as the syntax is the same as the "When I say" field, so should be familiar enough to interpret.

EDIT: Implemented in v1.7.0.12

It's nitpicky, but most actions have their strings encapsulated in single quotes, E.G.
Code: [Select]
Say, 'test'
Write (do not overwrite), 'test' to file 'test'
Set Text [test] to 'test'
While this action doesn't:
Code: [Select]
Wait for spoken response: test

While I'm nitpicking,
Code: [Select]
Write '[Blue] test' to logSeems off, as it'll print "test" to the log, not "[Blue] test".

Would
Code: [Select]
Write [Blue] 'test' to logMake sense? The character count remains equal, so does the position of the actual string.

I'll admit, I've thought about this one before, but I searched the feature requests forum and it seems I've not mentioned it yet :-X

I see what you're saying.  The responses are going to usually be multipart/dynamic for the most part (which is why there are no quotes).  I can slap quotes around the whole thing, though:

Wait for spoken response: 'yes;no;fire[weapons;squirrels;]'.

I agree about the color being outside the quotes.

That's exactly what I meant ;D
