possible to re-skin the VA GUI?
« on: July 13, 2016, 08:02:54 PM »
this might seem like an odd request but I use an overlay program to show the command window of VA in the bottom right corner of my Elite:Dangerous cockpit, I would like to be able to modify the text colors and background colors of the window so that it doesn't stand out so much against the dark cockpit.

here's a screenshot so you can get the idea of what i'm working with.

Is this something that is likely to be possible? or could potentially be added in the future? I don't want to have to redo my windows theme to get the same effect if at all possible.

Many Thanks.

DR

EDIT by Pfeil: Apparently the "Cover of Darkness" option meets the requirements of this request.

For now, have you tried the "-toggledark" command line argument? The log will switch to white text on a black background, perhaps that'll work better for your cockpit.

I didn't actually realise that was a thing, I'll look into that right away :)

Edit - I think that is more or less exactly what I was looking for, Thank you!
