Astra 'SOMETIMES' does'nt know her own name ?????
« on: April 06, 2018, 07:52:23 AM »
Hello all,
Back again with another issue i'm curious about......

I have Astra and a personal pack to go with it which works beautifully except one thing.

Astra wont acknowledge her own name (sometimes).

In windows speech recognition I added a new word called 'astra' and made a recording of
me saying it at which point the program accepted it.

In VA astra is accepted as heard but marked as unrecognised..... So.......

In VA when I say 'Astra' I get - Unrecognised - 'Astra' (or sometimes 'astra' with lower case first letter)

So I went in to edit the profile and edited 'Gratitude - Thanks (multipart)'

In the 'When I say' box it shows - Thank you; Thanks for that; Thanks

I modified it to the following ------ Thank you [very much; astra;]; Thanks for that; Thanks

This, theoretically would give me the following options if you only consider what's before the
first semicolon:

Thank you..............................Astra answers with one of the 'your welcome' messages
Thank you astra......................Astra answers with one of the 'your welcome' messages
Thank you very much..............Astra answers with one of the 'your welcome' messages
Thank you very much astra......Unrecognised   <-------------------------------------------

Why is the last spoken message unrecognised  ????

Many Thanks
Paul

Because you have "very much" and "Astra" as mutually exclusive sections.

Try "Thank you [very much;] [Astra;]; Thanks for that; Thanks"
