Clean install?
« on: January 01, 2018, 06:57:12 PM »
I'm trying to do a clean install of VA but somehow it's still has profiles that I have used in the past.

Why is it doing this?
Where is it getting that information from?
How do I get it to stop?

Thanks.

Uninstalling the program won't remove the profile database. Have a look at this topic for its location.

Aside from Pfeil suggestion, which is the definitive step of doing this, if you don't want to tamper manually with your profile database, you could simply delete everything from inside VA interface, and you will have a "clean" install anyway

I use this free program for uninstall of programs. It also does the clean-up of any extras.

The user/data files don't get created until after the first run, tho.
