Profile change actions
« on: January 15, 2018, 12:43:57 PM »
I noticed that if a loop is running in profile A and the profile is then changed to profile B the loop from Profile A is terminated immediately.

Would Gary (or anyone else) please comment about other actions that happen when a profile switch from A to B happens?

Thanks!

Gary

When a profile changes, all commands in that profile are unloaded.  Since all of the commands (and potentially all subcommands) are going away, the commands are stopped.

Yeah, the loop stops, but you can auto restart the loop when you load profile b. I use to use a loop to switch profiles when a certain windows title was Active, and just auto start the loop again when the new profile loaded. Worked really well, but found a easier way to do the job for my use, so I don't use it anymore.
