VA becomes very slow to respond to commands

I'm currently using VA with Elite Dangerous. When I first start VA it works great, recognizes all my commands, everything is fine. Then after a short time, anywhere between 30 sec and 2 minutes VA becomes very slow to respond (and when I say slow anywhere from 10 - 30 secs) to my commands or stops completely.  Restarting VA solves the problem but again this is only short lived before the problem returns. Anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks
